If investigating and solving murders is appealing to you, whether solo or cooperatively, this crime-solving game for 1-6 players will work for a wide range of player counts. There are three cases included (Easy, Moderate, and Hard). I played the first crime chapter solo and found it to be a simple system to learn.Â
Each mystery has an introduction with a questionnaire about the crime that players need to answer by the end of the game. There is also a map of the area where the crime took place, a deck of cards for interrogating suspects, clues to help solve the crime, and a solution envelope that is read when the questionnaire is completed. The goal is to solve the crime and correctly answer the investigative questions posed using the least number of interrogations and clues to earn the most points.
I was able to solve the first crime with a decent score! This game plays in about 90 minutes and would make a nice addition to family or friends game night. – Marsha
